Sat on a small seat between the coaches, isolated from the world, he was lost in a smile—unsure if he even existed. The only other seat beside him lay vacant, sending out an open invitation to someone who might know where, in the world, he was lost.

Just as he transcended into his world full of quiet joy, a moment snapped him back to reality. He glanced up—into eyes admiring him.

The only thing he wanted to say was: “You're beautiful.” But speaking it aloud would mean missing what he truly wanted to happen.

As she moved, his eyes followed—not missing a single glimpse of the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen. He suddenly understood—she knew what he had felt.

Embarrassed, he looked away, trying to return to the distant world outside the window.

He felt her presence—soft yet heavy—as she sat beside him. His heart made him smile, uncertain what else to do .She gently leaned her head on his shoulder, slowly enough to give him a choice.

He lowered his arm—not just to give her comfort, but to finally let his heart rest...the heart that had been chasing the one it belonged to.
