My Background

Being immersed in the legacies of two very different practices shaped how I see architecture. At the Chandigarh College of Architecture, Corbusier’s modernist vision revealed that architecture is inseparable from regulation, proportion, and civic order. Later, working with dp+ partners, one of the first African American–led firms in the US, I experienced architecture as collaboration and representation, where design must respond to community and equity. These experiences taught me that architecture is both a cultural expression and a tool for impact, requiring creativity to align with business, regulation, and people.

Since then, I’ve worked with firms across India, Europe, and the U.S., gaining insight into how architecture adapts across contexts—from construction systems and codes to cultural values and client priorities.

Over time, I’ve become increasingly focused on the intersection of design and business, how architectural choices shape financial outcomes for both clients and practices. I’m eager to join a firm where I can bridge creativity with strategy and entrepreneurship.
