Tableau Making for Chandigarh Administration

Designing the Chandigarh Republic Day tableau taught me how to communicate architectural ideas to a broad public audience under intense time constraints. I learned to distill Corbusier’s design language into simple, readable forms that still carried meaning — louvers, facades, and sectional ideas were transformed into a dynamic, moving display.

Working from concept to execution in just four days pushed me to make fast, pragmatic decisions while staying true to the narrative. I also gained valuable experience in cross-disciplinary collaboration — coordinating with artists, fabricators, and government stakeholders. This project showed me how architectural storytelling, when grounded in research, can have real cultural impact even in the most unconventional formats.
