This project involved hands-on workshops in 3D printing, robotic rod bending, and CNC cutting, culminating in the design of a birdhouse for the black-capped chickadee. Inspired by the radial spread of its wings in flight, the structure features dynamic panels and a rounded form that
mimics tree cavities, providing a familiar nesting space.

The CNC-milled ceiling, floor, and door incorporate precise joinery for a secure, seamless fit. The sloped ceiling allows rain runoff, while the pocketed floor and rotating door enable easy access and cleaning. An S-shaped 3D-printed knob helps to lock the door in place. Parametric design ensures both aesthetic fluidity and structural stability
