My Background

Being surrounded by the work of legendary architects from the start — from Corbusier’s modernist vision at Chandigarh College of Architecture, where I completed my undergraduate studies, to interning at the civic legacy of Devrouax + Purnell, one of the first African-American-led architecture firms in the United States, grounded me in two powerful truths: Architecture is both a cultural expression and a tool for impact. These early experiences shaped my desire to question conventions, work across cultures, and pursue design that is both meaningful and grounded in real-world complexities.

 

Building on that foundation, I’ve worked with firms across India, Europe, and the U.S., both in-office and remotely. This global exposure has deepened my appreciation for the practical and cultural layers of architecture.

 

Over time, I’ve grown increasingly interested in the intersection of design and business — especially in how architectural choices shape financial outcomes for both the client and the practice. I look forward to joining a practice where I can contribute meaningfully while continuing to grow as a designer, thinker, and entrepreneur.
